Juniata College, a top-100 National Liberal Arts College located in Southwestern Pennsylvania, is renowned for its programs in the sciences, education, business, humanities, and international studies. Founded in 1876, the college aims to prepare individuals “for the useful occupations of life.” This mission remains highly relevant today and is central to its academic approach, which focuses on preparing students not only to adapt to a changing world but also to lead change.
The campaign theme “Be Future Proof” was developed to encapsulate this academic philosophy. It serves as a call to action and promises that students will graduate from Juniata with well-developed real-world skills, equipping them for both their careers and a lifetime of career adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
Juniata’s signature Programs of Emphasis (P.O.E.) allow students to connect a primary P.O.E. with multiple secondary P.O.E.s, empowering them to align their curiosity with their future goals. This approach results in a highly personalized, cross-disciplinary education.
While serving as the Associate Creative Director at Creative Communications Associates, Ruth Sadinsky designed the campaign materials to embody the brand concepts using visuals that reflect endless possibilities, adaptability, leadership, and personal confidence in navigating a changing world.
The campaign introduced a comprehensive overhaul of the brand identity system, aiming to create a cohesive and modern visual representation both on and off campus. This new identity was systematically implemented across all outreach materials, including admissions brochures, digital communications, campus banners, and promotional items, to ensure consistent messaging and engagement both internally among staff and externally with the public. The goal was to strengthen brand recognition and foster a unified presence across all platforms.
